Hi my 2024 Ibiza has SFD2 protection. Am I able to replace my rear pads using Carista or OBD11 to release the handbrake or is there a work around. Thanks guys.

Oh thanks James. Nothing to worry about then. I have a fairly comprehensive wind back set so hopefully that will do the job. Didn't want to pay dealer prices and didn't want Seat replacement discs. M disks are really shot at 25000 miles and could have done with replacing at 15000 but Seat refused to accept responsibility. Their response was that it was due to me using wheel cleaner - never ever used the stuff.

There is only a short, limited warranty on wear and tear items like brakes. They're only covered for 6000 miles or 6 months.
