Ok,

So when I initially got the stage one done I was zipping about town in my 08 MK2 Cupra.

However now I have moved from bonnie Scotland to London.
Now im doing a 700 mile commute every weekend.

I was thinking about trying to reset the ReVo settings to stock. But I of course have a some questions:

1 - Is ot true I can reset the settings to stock by removing the battery for say 20 mins?

2 - Will I actually see a benefit in MPG by setting it to stock?

Cheers.

hello

no you will not reset your ecu back to non-revo by disconnecting your battery, you will need to get your ecu re-flashed with a new stock map, revo can do this but you will find it very difficult to have another performance map put back on it unless its a revo map as they do something to the map when they flash it that locks it out for other tuners, stock at a seat garage is the way to go, that's what I had to do to get my car remapped when it had revo trail software on it from the previous owner.

Hi lelilo,

Thanks for the reply. I know I wont revert it back to the Stock ECU (Non revo) but I have heard that it will revert the configuration settings (Boost, Mixture, Timing) back to 0/0/0. At the moment mine are set to 8/8/5 I think.

I know I can do it with an SPS switch but dont have the money for one of those at the mo.

Cheers

Steve
