revving problem

got an 03 cupra r and the last couple of days have had some problems with the revs. the revs are sometimes sticking around 2000rpm and if i blip the accelerator it stutters and drops the revs before catching up. it seems ok once im up to speed and driving, its just at idle it does this. anyone had the same problem or know what it might be?

throttle body can get sticky which sometimes gets better once warm.
but there could be anything causing it. if you can find somebody with vagcom you can check the ecu for stored fault codes.

I had this problem for a while it seems to have sorted its self out now. I have vag com and it was showing no fault codes. Seemed to be worse when re starting the car after a short stop like say nipping in a shop or somat
