Looking good.... Properly good sleepers with the power aren't they?!

4WD in the snow/ice is a great change from the norm of snow driving.

Good work on the maintenance, my haldex is due a change in about 12k... and I might look into the rubber link if it's as cheap as £130

Thanks m0rk :)

The prop shaft rear flexible link made the world of difference to mine. No vibration or noise at all now. New bolts (x6) were about £5 from TPS and the flexible link was £130 from Rexbo. Not a chance I was paying VAG/TPS £280 for something that's being sold for half the price in Continental Europe. VAG have effectively banned Lemforder from selling them outside the VAG network in the UK. Highly illegal.

Had a bit of free time at lunch time today so I fitted my LED number plate lights and gave the car a good going over with Sonax Xtreme Brilliant Shine detailer:

I've used this product for a while now but not on the Altea. It's marketed as a quick detailing spray but it's actually one of the best synthetic sealants you can get your hands on. Super quick to use and it lasts for months. I'll let the pictures do the talking:
