Ive done a search and it came up with some stuff but not what im looking for. Whilst at the Ring over bank holiday it was packed with RS4's and i got to thinking i like tham brakes so my question is this as the front brakes are very simliar to those on my LCR will they fit on the front of my LCR also will the rear brakes fit aswell.

You can bet your life they wonlt be a direct fit.

Anyway why swap the claipers etc?

The weak point on the LCR are the discs not the calipers.

The cheaper solution would be;-
Ferrodo DS2500 Pads
Motul RBF600 Fluid

and two piece disks - avaiolable from Badger5

As Rud said its the disc and pads on most cars...

Not to meation the size of the 8 pots on the RS4's wouldnt fit under most wheels without spacers and of coarse bigger radius wheels, then you have to think about the Disc size increase as you wouldnt want the calipers to miss the disc because the disc is too small for the pad size on the RS4 calipers..
Then you have the next problem master cylinder, if its not up to the size, your end up with spongey brakes... as i think your find the RS4 uses at least 4ml bigger cylinder to get the 8 pot pairs at the front and the 4 pot rears moving..

I only know this as i did abit of reading into the calipers in the VAG range as I'm upgrading my brakes to Porka GT3 calipers and R32 discs.. and I'm JUST fitting them under my 19" wheels..

I have the RS6 8-pot brembo's on my S8, mated to RS4 (B6) 367mm disks.
had to make brkts to suit as one off's.
radial mount, but totally different dimensions.. and needed 19" rims with small 3mm spacer on my 9x19 rims to clear em.

phat tho

Bill, what size is the S8 master cylinder? Does it cope well with the 8 pots, did you convert the back too?
