"rumbling strip" noise and bearing whine when reducing high speed, are they linked?

So, after numerous opinions on what could be causing the annoying noise on my R, ive noticed lately that as well as sounding like im driving on a rumbling strip every time I turn the wheel off centre, ive now developed a definate front bearing noise when decelerating from high speed, could it be the bearing telling me its been causing me this annoyance all this time? Or is it just wishful thinking? Car has just been mot'd and nothing was noticed so om thinking of just biting the bullet and putting 2 bearings in the front, could I cure both problems? Anyone else had a similar noise?

Bearings is possible but check your tyres aren't blocking up on the edges. Try swapping wheels front to rear to rule out the tyres.

Front wheel bearings

Hi mate, did you change the front wheel bearings in the end, did it cure the problem?? Mine makes a similar noise when dropping from high speed :/
