Has anybody on here got experience of settling their finance early?

I have taken my Cupra on PCP and went to sign the paperwork today. I only took the finance because of the £1000 deposit contribution and was wondering how soon after taking delivery of the car I can settle the balance and what fee's will I have to pay?

I would think you'll need to wait until the 14 day cooling off period has elapsed, as paying off the finance within that 14 days would be construed as a cancellation of the agreement. You'd probably have to pay back the grand in that case.

i traded in my last pcp after 18 months to get my leon.
originally had a ibiza, and seat dealer sorted it all for me, but was hassle free.

Contrary to the misinformation put about by some posters, there is no contractual tie up between the PCP and £1K off. As I stated, a mere £1.74 was the cost to me of cancelling the very next day.
