Hi all,

Recently i was driving home and when stood still i noticed a vrumm noise every second or so, took it straight to the garage to check over he lifted the oil filler cap and dipstick and it was smoking not heavily but like dispersing, is this normal?

The day after the revs jumped up idoling at roughly 1250rpm it should be 750rpm on idol anyway i came to drive it today and its running perfect no fault coades or ililluminations on dash..

Can anyone help??

Sounds like it was doing a DPF regeneration, quite normal on all modern diesels. Nothing to worry about but make sure you go on a motorway trip at least 10 miles or so once maybe twice a week

Took it to dealers under warranty, excessive back pressure and not supplying sufficient boost from turbo charger, they gave me a new car
