I’m a tall driver (over 200cm), and I struggle to get comfortable behind the wheel in compact cars like the Seat Ibiza. Issues like knee angle, thigh support, and seat height make long drives uncomfortable.
I’ve been considering a temporary DIY solution: loosening the two front seat bolts and adding 1–2 cm spacers/washers under the front side of the seat rails to raise the seat slightly. This could improve ergonomics, but I’m concerned about safety in case of an accident.
