Hi,
I Have a seat Leon Fr 1.4 - 2015 - (150 BHP) and I am trying to get it as fast as I can SAFTEY, I would like to get my car to stage 2 however I don't want to blow the engine, I currently have the following MODS installed
K&N Induction Kit, Forge Dump Valve, Decat Down pipe & Res delete with open and close Value System,
Are these Mods good enough to take to stage 2 without any problems?

In the future I might want to put in a KO3 Turbo, Would I have to forge the engine to get more power safety? and what is the max power I could expect with the KO3 Turbo and a forged engine?

Thanks

Maybe I just chose the wrong car to modify :(
I will wait for my insurance to go down and then see if I can sell and get something faster,

Thank you

I know you aren't looking to do this now but I've always wondered what might be possible from this engine. You would also probably need a performance clutch, uprated injectors and maybe new cams and intercooler on top of what was previously mentioned.

If you are running a decat on it already, either your driving around with a light or you have had it mapped out? "Stage 2" is technically just remap and decat anyway so your already there.

Honestly, just don't bother. Sell the car and get something faster, with the amount you'll have to spend to achieve 200+ safely you could get a Cupra. Not to mention the additional insurance costs of a heavily modified car and also the reduction in fuel economy will also make it rather obsolete owning an ecoTSI.
Or just stick with a stage 1.
I'm with @CalJames on this. I understand the desire to tune a Cupra, but not the smaller engines. You'd be much better off changing your car for one with a bigger engine.

As said it isn't worth the cost. However, a company called RTMG have a 240bhp package for these engines including a hybrid turbo, water charge cooler to air cooled intercooler conversion and other mods. The last I heard from them they were working on a 260bhp package. From what I can tell they don't have issues with the engine running at 240, but as said it will cost a shed load of £££ to do vs just getting a cupra.
