Hi guys, Had my car in for a MOT and a few other jobs yesterday.

For the MOT I needed to get the front Spring done. So the guys also did the wheel alignment for the car at the same time. When I picked the car up last night I took it straight back because some thing felt weird from the front left wheel and they told me it was just because of the new spring on the right hand side and it would settle down after a day or too.

Living only round the corner from the garage I took the car straight home happy that it had passed its MOT with only one problem.

So here is the problem I'm suffering from with the car. I was just heading down the local bypass at normal driven speed not pushing the car at all just pottering along in a line. When the T/C light started flashing for no reason what so ever. Then the car started what I would call slightly jolting to the left hand side (Guessing this is because the car is applying the brakes to that wheel) There was no wheel spinning so not sure why it started doing it. I slowed down and eased off the gas and the light continued to flash till I was the right the way down below 20mph.

I pulled over took a look at the wheel and noticed the weight had falling off the wheel that they just put on yesterday to balance. So I just fort well I'm almost home I would just take it really easy to get there. So only doing about 50 along the road IT DID IT AGAIN and kept flashing till it was again down to even lower speed !!!

Did'nt have any issue like this before I took the car in for its MOT and I've no idea what to do

Phoned the garage and they said swap the front and rear wheels around and see if I still get the same problem. But to be honest I dont really want to drive the car if its going to randomly start kicking the T/C system in even with no wheel spin going on.

So not sure if they have done some thing when they have done the alignment or when they have done the wheel balance. Our if they have forgot to redo some thing when they have replaced the front driver side spring >>?<< Any ideas would be great please guys as I need the car to get to and from work..

I can't help thinking the tracking work has contributed..
Wheel on tight?

I've checked the wheels and there all on tight. I've even swapped the wheels around from back to front to see if that helps. To no ones surprise it didn't help at all. The lad who did the work for the MOT is going to take a look. He has no idea why it is suddenly doing it as he says all the work he did was new driver side spring. Balanced and alignment on the wheels.

Did not have this issue before it went in to the garage.

Did notice this morning when I took it out with the wheels swapped over that I was able to no problems at all put my foot down why going along a long right hander but was unable to do this coming back the other way on a long left bend. Fort it may of just been a one off so went back along the road 3 times to check.

Every time along the long right it was fine then coming back the other way so now a long left the traction control all of a sudden kicks in and then keeps flashing for at lest 20 to 30 seconds.
