Remember the Seat Leon Cupra R 310 WCE revealed back in June? It’s okay, if you don’t because we’re going to give you a little refresher anyway. The Cupra R 310 WCE was a special edition Cupra R limited to only 200 units and powered by a 310 HP engine. We are assuming that special edition did well enough because Seat has announced a second version of the special edition called the R310 White Edition. It was built as a competitor for the Focus RS, but the competition will only lie in Sweden because that is the only region who will enjoy the white model.

Based on the Leon Cupra R the R310 White Edition is powered by the same 310 HP engine as its previous brother, but it will be distinguished by a white body decorated with two-tone strips. Seat is also offering sport 19-inch wheels, bucket seats, and a sports suspension.

The price for this beauty is 34,000 euro. There is one setback, however. Seat has announced that any customer with the desire to purchase this vehicle will have to take a special driving course in order to learn how to handle the car.

Looks pretty nice although the changes are VERY subtle.
From what I can spot you've got the following over the Cupra R spec:

White wing mirrors and boot spoiler
White coloured wheels
Vinyl special edition designation decal above side skirt
Special edition badging
Gloss black coloured centre console (with tacky racing flag vinyl decal)
Suede/Alcantara inserts on the standard Cupra cloth seats...
Remap up to 310bhp, possibly a more free flowing intake and exhaust.
It does mention improved suspension but I doubt it differs from the Cupra R spec.

So £29k for 10bhp LESS than a Revo Stage 2 car? I reckon you could get all the other interior/exterior mods done for under £1k... No thank you Mr. Seat of Sweden...

I quite like it overall - I'm on my second white Leon now and those white wheels look better than I'd thought they would. But I agree that it's overpriced and that racing flag sticker around the stereo almost made me sick, it's so awful! Don't like the vinyl go-faster-stripes down the side much either, but the fascia one is just criminal.

i'm sure we will get a 'k2' in the UK at some point.

Still think white alloys on the white cupra make it look a bit cheap compared to how much meaner it looks with balck ones!

If it came with the 2.5T engine in from the TTRS I could justify the money otherwise I'm not sure i'll be jumping on a plane to Sweden to get one!

Nice to see they have bumped the bhp to 310bhp, does make it more desireable rather than the feasible 25bhp in the R version so maybe a few clever things going on under the bonnet

Defo like to take it out and see how it compares to a stage1 though

Willing to bet its a simple remap that is going on under the bonnet. Some countries tune cars with Revo software and back the car with a warranty. The UK, sadly, is not one of those countries.

On the other hand is some countries Seat delivers Abt software at a rediculous price (under warrantee). Point is this software is a real nightmare and is so much on the safe side that a well run in standard Cupra will deliver the same values.

The dutch 310 pre fl was delivered standard with Abt software and the problems with these cars (fuel cuts, overboost and enourmous peaks/drops) forced most owners to throw away the Abt software and go for something better.....

location , location
it could be a 1.2 leon looking like that , the single exhaust takes away the styling the cupra r had , the only nice different thing is the seats , chequers say vauxhall chav , overall a lazy way of emptying the seat parts bins.

29k???????????
wakey wakey seat thats secondhand supercar money.

We allready had a "310" pre fl modell. It was ment to sell out the last old cupra modells and was pimped with a few stickers, black alloys and software written by Abt which promissed 310 bhp (and went for a for Holland attractive price).
In the end it proved that none of the cars was delivering anywhere near the promised gains. Most cars where rediculously overboosting and Abt and Seat Holland where for a very long time unable to give these cars anywhere near acceptable software.
I drove several of them and they where the worst driving cupra's so far (massive overboost, huge peaks and then nothing, flat spots and overheating).
Wonder who is delivering the software for this new 310 but if is abt with their crappy standard software I would stay away from this one and find a decent tuner (i like the colour of the seats, the dash looks tacky but matches the Darth Vader style rear side of the seats...)

Is nice to own a VERY limited edition Leon, but as said before, the extras just dont justify the extra ££££ to buy this car - what would the lead time be, from ordering to collection - a few years!?

The Vinyl stripe down the side above the skirts has been done so many times before, plus can be seen on most performance Fords these days.
Infact my old GT Turbo had them from factory and thats going back 15 years! lol.

I'd be more than happy to instead pickup a mint K1, then style it my way, plus the remap, still at less cost.
