Hello everyone ! Glad to have become a member !
I am planning to upgrade my existing sound system this summer as a summer project. In the car now I have a
Jbl cs1214 subwoofer rated at 250watts rms and 2 6by9 jvc speakers at 60watts rms in the shelf. The speakers and subwoofer are run off a jvc 4 channel amplifier with the subwoofer getting 150 watts rms bridged and the speakers 60 watts rms each.
The headunit is a pioneer deh1300mp and just recently the pico fuse blew resulting in a whining noise. I have stopped this noise however with grounding the rca with a piece of copper wire but the noise is still there at low volumes. The car has the standard speakers and 2 of them produce crackling noises and the driver one farts at volume 35 but sometimes it doesn't.
I also have the infamous leon leaky doors and plan on sealing them this summer ( main reason)
So im lookin to change my headunit and change all 4 door speakers but im confused as to what speakers to invest in. I want clean rattle free noise so I might also put dynamat on the inside doors.
The headunit which I want to buy is a pioneer deh x3500ui.

Any replys are much appreciated ! Thank you for reading !

I have hertz Milli MLK 1600 comps in mine running of a genesis mono block, and they are absolutely mental! No need for a sub as they produce more than enough bass on their own, anything focal, hearts or dls will rock, just remember it's all about cables and amps, no matter how good your speakers are cheap cables and cheap amps will ruin their sound, also soundproof the hell out if your doors!

How many rms are the speakers ? Cause at the moment im just looking to run them off the headunit which
I think is around 20-22 rms.

Just lookin for a replacement for the standard speakers probably around the same rms rating

Ah these are 250 each I think, I paid 850 for them a couple of years ago, they need an amp though, look for hertz on eBay and you cam pick up the lower range ones that will be a direct replacement and work without an amp
