Hi All,

I have got a seat leon 2006 with both the engine light and airbag warning light on.

The engine light I believe is related to the over boost sensor (16618 P0234). At the moment we believe it is related to a carbon build up which is causing the car to go into limp mode.

On another note, the airbag light is on which is a big headache as we have checked the connections under seats but nothing appears to be loose.

Could anybody help with these issues as we have an MOT very soon and I believe under the new ruling it will fail because of these faults?

Thanks in advance

Damon

When you say you have checked the wiring, a good way would be to remove the wiring and push it back tightly on both sides (the car and seat). Thats what i did and it removed the light. Check both seats unless you have done a VAGCOM check

THanks for your reply.. When you say car and seat, where else do I need to check as we have only looked under the seats at this stage.

Thanks in advance

The wiring is connected to both sides. One going into the seat, the other into the car which Im guessing is the one you have checked. Unbolt the seats, disconnect and reconnect both sides. If that dont fix it, scan the car with software and see which airbag it is, My guess is passenger side airbag

Thanks man, ill have a good look over it tomorrow. Even if I get this airbag light off, I think I will be hard pressed to sort out the engine light in time.

Anyone know of a way of removing the warning light bulbs on the dash as a temporary measure? :)

Thanks
