Hi all

Got myself an Ibiza Toca yesterday which came with the Portable Nav system.

I've had a read through the manual, and can't really find much on these queries.

I've paired my phone (Samsung Galaxy S6) up to it and the phone works fine, so it's clearly paired ok.

I sync'd the contacts, but it only sync'd 9 contacts (I do have more friends than that!) - of which, one was my own number!

Does anyone know why it would only sync 9 contacts?

Also, if I wanted to play media from the phone, is there anywhere specific I need to put music on the phone for it to be accessible?

Edit:

So, I just went back out to the car, plugged the device in, sync'd contacts, and now they're all there.

I added some tracks on my phone, and when I play with the media player on the phone, that works - all be it rubbish!

When the song plays, I get about 0.5-1s of music, then it stops for about 1s, then continues. It's like there's some kind of buffering going on, but I'm not streaming the track at all, it's stored on my phone.

I tried using your method for playing music via a phone, not very good, ended up putting tracks on a memory card, there's a slot on the side of SPS and it works brilliant for sound.

Yeah. I've just been out to tesco to get a memory card and works fine.

Seems odd that Bluetooth wouldn't work.

Check on the settings that there isnt 2 phones connected to 1&2. I connectec my mates phone and my wouldnt work but once i deleted it, it was fine

Interestingly, I accidentally set the sps to phone audio yesterday and it just worked perfectly fine. I have no idea what was different other than maybe that the phone had been paired for longer.
