Jaime Puig, the Director of SEAT Sport, said that the aim for 2008 was to win the FIA World Touring Car Championship. "The Chairman [of SEAT] has told us to go and win a cup," said Jaime. "We've always been told to do our best, but now we have been told to win."
There was certainly a buzz of anticipation and a feeling of confidence in Madrid, when team drivers Yvan Muller, Gabriele Tarquini, Rickard Rydell, Jordi Gené and Tiago Monteiro gathered for the official SEAT Sport press conference.
