nice colours! is the whole car going to be silver? or green? actually just seen your sig, green!

Aye, its a Green car . the original tailgete was well twisted so I got the silver one from a local scrappy (not bad seeing as it came with a spoiler too *which Ive since sold for the cost of the whole lid * so no faffing about to swap the original spoiler back on )

good stuff, liking the work, bet you cant wait for it to be finsihed! mines got cupra sport gti written on the rear bumper, yours just has gti? what reg is it?

the Cupra Sport badge is in the glove box at the moment. I carefully removed them all from the original tailgate only put GTi badge back on as it seems to *stop* the local Neds from wanting to race me when they see the badge. (oh, and its on a 'T' plate :))

Piccy I took right after I got the car.. shows the way the boot was forced in to the rear quarters.( some old boy in a people carrier smacked it apparently..)
Hence also the reason why theres a black plastic strip on at the moment rather than the red one :(
