Snow Chains?

Does anyone know whether you can fit snow chains on a Leon Cupra over the standard 17" rims?

I'm wondering whether there may be clearance issues with the bodywork - don't fancy cheese-grating the inside of the wheel arches!

Can't see why there would be. They are the same size as wheels on foreign cars where they actually get proper snow. This is from the official Seat site (admittedly for the new Leon, but I don't think they would just have realised that it snows abroad).

Thanks. The things that they call snow chains on that site are 'snow socks' which are a kind of fabric wrap that goes around the tyre to improve grip, so are not actually chains. Problem with these is that the bloody French police don't recognise them as snow chains so they can still send you back down the mountain if they've got an arse on!
