Which brand(s) have you tried and your experiences please?

Searching a well known uk car cleaning website, I came across this product - Any good?
Valet Pro - PH Neutral Snow Foam - 1 litre. Cant post links yet.

I wash my Leon using the 2 bucket method, also hosing the car down before washing, to ensure the car is nice and wet, before starting the wash process...

Would it be of further benefit, if I applied a snow foam product as part of that initial hose down - rinse?

 Are these products a very strong concentrate that might do more damage than good (thinking of the very strong solutions these Polish fast car wash outfits probably use - sulphuric acid lol !!) ?

if its decent PH foam mix then you will be fine, follow the dilution instructions and have fun!

I usually hose the car down first, then apply a decent thick coating of foam and leave it to dwell for 5-10 mins. During which time im going round cleaning all the badges, joins etc with a detailing brush. Then rinse off well and then proceed to a 2BM wash as usual.

Just another stage to reduce dirt and dust before the main wash.

Get a decent foam lance as well, they are usually £45 to £50.

This is what i have:

As TubbyTwo, rinse off first with water from hose, sheeting action. Then snow foam. Leave for up to 10 minutes then rinse again before washing with the 2 bucket method

I have tried most of them and think they are a waste of money Just as well putting some shampoo through your gun and allowing that to flow off the heavy deposits, pressure wash then shampoo 2 bucket method.Only one that I thought that was reasonable was Bilt Hamber.

Its one extra step thats a bit of fun, some people like them, some dont.

I find a decent strong mix of some decent foam with a bit of shampoo or APC mixed in works well, yes it may not totally clean the car, but it helps remove alot of the git and dirt, expecially from shutlines etc.

If your ultimate goal is the reduction of swirl marks as a result of contact while washing the car then I would give it a try.

Speaking of which I need to order a new bottle and pressure washer gun as some idiot (which would be me) managed to reverse the car over it last time i used it.

Good one.
