I've just treated myself to a new pressure washer and have got some Autobrite supa snow foam partly to clean the car and partly because it looks so much fun. :funk: Anyway, whats the best quantity of snow foam to use in the lance bottle??

I've read on here that its best to add a little car shampoo to it aswell for extra cleaning, do you have to top the bottle up with water when you've added it??

Any help much appreciated.

You wont need much SSF, and yeh top the bottle up with water!

Best to work out what you think is a good amount to use, how much water, and what settings to use on the lance. I use about 1-2cm in the bottom of the lance bottle I would say.

As above mate, I usually put about an inch in followed by a little bit less shampoo.

I then top up the bottle with hot water as in my mind it aides mixing!

Foamtastic!

Do you have a foam lance, or just the normal one?

If its a Karcher, you can normally pick up a foaming lance for around £10 in halfords.

Yeah, I DID have one of those Halfords Karcher ones and soon brought a proper lance from autobrite, the results are so much different even using the same chemical. The cheap Karcher one is more of a soap applicator that a lance. Good ones are not "that" expensive and defiantly worth it.

good fun but does bugger all really,. yes it loosens the top dirt, but it really is just the top dirt,

totally disagree

used the snow foam last Saturday, and it removed ALOT of dirt

the amount of touch I had to use with my wash mitt was pretty minimal to say the least (compared to when I wasn't using the snow foam). alot less effort was required to wipe the dirt off and IMO it is one of the best cleaning products that I have used to date and I highly recommend it to anyone:)
