So can I retrofit ACC?

Have a 2020 MK3 Leon FR black edition with the radar module. Want to install ACC but having a look on the forums I can't get a definite answer. Do I only need the stalk and program it using my OBDELEVEN. I noticed there is a mod pre-made on the OBDELEVEN app for adding ACC. I also know I need to install the stalks with the ACC stalk attached but what I want to know is if the wiring is already set up to retrofit or do I need to wire lots of different things up? Sorry for my ignorance. Once I get a jist I will be fine. Just need to be put in the right direction.

You can’t activate ACC with OBDeleven

We can retrofit it for you

I wouldn't do it. If the sensor get's hit or fails you will lose not only ACC but all cruise control as they are linked. And getting the sensor replaced and calibrated is pretty expensive.

You often lose cruise control anyway when the radar needs calibration, even without ACC.

Radar replacement is reasonably priced with us, as with calibration. There’s a huge number of cars with radar installed, and not a huge number of cars requiring calibration

ACC is one of those options I’ll never personally be without again 😅

The adaptive cruise on my Mercedes Actros artic tractor unit is linked not only to the radar sensor at the front, but is also linked to the known speed limits in the satnav mapping, and if it is switched on in, say, a 50mph limit, and I'm approaching a 30mph sign, the truck slows down to the new speed limit by itself, and then increases speed as soon as the speed limit increases again. The speed limit of the road is actually marked with not only a traffic sign on the dash but also with an arrow pointing to the correct speed on the speedo display, which changes colour from yellow to where the cruise is set under the speed limit speed, green for the speed limit, and red for over speed. The cruise is also switchable from a steering wheel button between adaptive as described, and standard, where it doesn't take any outside factors into account, it just keeps the speed at which it is set. Mercedes call this system PPC, Predictive Power Control.
Is the retrofit Leon the same, or does ACC actually REPLACE the standard cruise with no option to switch between the two, and does it factor in road speed limits as taken from the sat nav like the truck? Generic pic from google attached, not me taking photos whilst driving with 44 tonnes behind me! Thanks

I have the basic cruise control on my Leon Cupra 280, without the radar. Sometimes the cruise control fails and it throws the car out of cruise, throwing a yellow exclamation mark with a cruise control icon on the dash… Any ideas?

The Leon cannot have PACC from the factory, however we can enable it

It uses a combination of traffic signs and navigation data

then it is probably the known cable break in the indicator lever with CCS
