Somethings Broken

Hi,

When driving the car in first and second gear it is very 'lurchy' i.e. huge feeling of engine braking when you come off and on the throttle and a like noticable shift in weight of something heavy. There is no banging as such but it feels as if something is loose...

What mounts could be causing this presuming it is a broken mount somewhere? If it's not what else could it be? The fault can also be shown in 5th gear at say 35mph - using full throttle then coming straight off it produces the same effect though nowhere near as bad. Car does not jump out of gear or anything.

Mines the same in first and second when you take it to the top of the rev range but thats just normal. You sure theres an actual issue or is it quite violent? Doesn't sound to me like it is the mounts if there is no banging.......

It's quite violent i.e. you dont need lots of revs just throttle and theres a notable shift in movement.
