Hey guys and girls.

I got a seat Leon 1.8t with 3inch downpipe and cobra exhaust also remapped with other mods.

I have read various posts about different spark plugs for different temps. I was wondering what people have found best to run I the 1.8t's that are mapped.

Thanks in advance.

NGK BKR7E a lot of people use (including myself) - They're copper so conduct heat better and they're 1 heat range cooler than OEM.

Downside is you should replace them every oil change (or at least every 10k miles IMO) unlike platinums.

Upside is they're ~£10 a set on the Bay.

From another forum but I spotted this a few months ago, makes for a good read for anyone interested - http://myfastgti.com/volkswagen/thr...g-Explaination-for-1.8t-Incl.-Heat-Range-Info

Thanks you very much for your reply I really appreciate it. I guess I will be running NGK then.
