Squeaking Noise Turning Right

007JRB

007JRB - APPLE TOG
Hi Guys,

Its been a while since I've posted.. .which is good because everything has been working great! Service on Friday and over the past month or so have noticed that when giving the car a good run, occasionally I will get a squeaking noise when turning right on the wheel Im normally doing about 50MPH at the time and its like you would expect a belt to be rubbing or slipping but I'm not sure.

Can the Power Steering fluid be low causing the noise? as its only when I turn right and never happens turning left..... It makes me think Bearings. Any Ideas from you Wiz Kids!

I just wanted an Idea heading into Service.

Many Thanks!

JB

Hi - did you find out what this was?? My Leon is in Garage with similar problem but it squeeks turning left and right. They are going to replace the Power Steering Pump but I'm having to wait an extra day as the Pump on my Cupra R is different from the recommended?? Also there is a leak above the pump (Switch??) which they are also replacing. The Car has done 138K but would the leak be the issue rather than the Pump and why is the original pump (if it is original) be different to the recommended replacement??

Your thoughts would be great.

Many Thanks
Marv
