Strange noise 1.5 engine

Hi. My 2021 1.5 V1 has started to make an odd noise, only tends to happen when have been driving a while, and stops when clutch is disengaged. Went in for a service yesterday and technician says unable to recreate, but was making the noise again when they dropped the car back off to me. I’ve recorded the sound, it sounds like a loose belt maybe but that doesnt explain why it stops when the clutch is disengaged. Has anyone had this before and knows what it could be? It gets really loud eventually, sounds a bit like a washing machine!

Have you noted whether the car is in ECO mode when this happens? When it enters this mode (working on 2 cylinders) there is a strange noise from the engine; I think it is a pressure release, but not sure.
It exits ECO mode when the clutch is disengaged (or when you press the acceleration pedal).

Cheers. It’s in sport mode. It’s intermittent, only tends to start doing it after a longer journey. The noise increases as you increase revs.

ECO mode is entered automatically (even on sport mode) when you press the pedal gently when cruising. However, it is an on/off noise, so your case might be different.
When ECO mode is on you have a light on the dashboard.

Did you find the origin of that sound? Mine make some rattling sound but only when gear is engaged and in accelerating. Need visit dealer to look at it.
