hi.. iv got a ibiza dab edition.. which comes with the blaupunkt nashville 35 dab headunit.

i went to get a sub out installed in my car, and an adaptor(made by blaupunkt) was needed for a sub out, so that was ordered and it was fitted. but when changing subs to twin 10" subs, only 1 sub worked...thought it might be the rca cables, but they seem to be fine...so am only running 1 sub now, and it seesm to be working, but is this normal??

also, i bought a 3000w amp from theloudest.com and got a kicker 12" L5 sub...but depending on the track the amp cuts out the sub, and the prob light comes on...i have turned down the gain, but am not getting enough bass as i would like...how can i fix this? also the amp is on the LPF (low pass filter) setting which is ment to be for subs, but then it has a hz knob...ranging from 50hz to 250hz....will changing the hz setting allow more bass through???

sorry its long..... but thanks, med

Riiight...

1) Are both amps wired in together? Are they both connected to the amp?

2) If the protect light keeps coming up on the amp chances are your sub is wired to a lower Ohm rating than the amp can handle. Is the amp 0 or 2 ohm stable? You'd need to double-check the way the sub is wired (the manual should give you some guidance), and the amp's manual.

3) The Hz setting will change the frequency of the bass so it will sound slightly different - you need to experiment with it to find out what you like - LPF is correct.
