Sub box install

Just wondered what people have done

I want it as stealth as possible so I can have as much room free as I can as I'll need to get a pram in there

The two ideas I have thought of are

Stealth box on one side with amp in spare wheel

No spare wheel and sub mounted in there with amp on the side or under a false panel

Do you know if any of the Jl audio boxes would fit
Is our boot the same as mk4 golfs

The bottom one was a Jl audio one for the golf that basically goes in the wheel well with sub facing bottom then your spare wheel sits onto

Or I could kind of custom make one that fits into the wheel with sub facing upwards

Just trying to think which will be my best bet

i used to have a stealthboxz in my golf and it was great. if your handy person then you can make your own, i have seen a guide on a forum somewhere.

I had one in my spare wheel well for a while - had a false floor 50mm up from the standard height, sub sat inside the spare wheel.. best of both worlds - not acoustically the best solution but provided that extra punch.

Still got the boards from my floor at home, cut to the right shape for the leon boot..

damn that's expensive! you could buy a very nice sounding complete system for that much..... when my hand gets better I might have a crack at building one of those, always wanted to make something out of fiber glass.......

Has anyone on here made one of these boxs? As I don't know how much fibreglass resin is needed, can anyone give me some idea?

Does the method in the side of the boot allow for only a shallow mount sub?

What kind of depth can you go for?

the stalthboxz normally have a deep and shallow box option, if your making your own you can make it as deep as you want.

Has any one done that before
