Sub wont mute when using Parrot

Guys

I have tried searching for 20 mins as i think this has been covered somewhere on here.

I have an active sub fitted to the standard Aura HU and speakers. When i use the Parrot CK3100 the sub does not mute but the main speakers do.

Does anyone know what the problem is and how you can sort it so all the sound mutes? I am thinking about changing the HU to an aftermarket jobbie sometime soon - will this solve the problem if i connect the sub via RCAs?

I had this problem with an aftermarket hu in my old Car so it's not the hu Can't remember how I fixed it tho I'm afraid

I think my connectors in the sub or on the back of my hu were in the wrong holes but can't be sure mate

If you used a line level converter connected to feed the sub from the rear speakers then that would cure it.
Audio quality may be compromised slightly but it depends on your set up.

Where is the signal source for the sub originating from at present?

I have the CK3100 in my BM and using the SOT lead the sound from the car kit goes through the speakers and the sub so it sounds fine.

you need to attach the parrot mute lead to the stereo mute
