Sun Visor Removal - Help Needed

Hi guys, i'm in the process of trimming all my pillars and will also be doing my roof lining however i can't seem to figure out how to remove the hook for the sun visor's.
There is no sign of a screw and it's the only thing left holding my roof lining up!!

Any ideas?

Please help guys i'm at a loss at what to do, i can't put all my pillar trims back in until i get this done, car looks poo right now lol

I've tried pulling on them and putting a flat head screw driver in the notch against the roof but it's not budging, they're not glued on are they?

Lol i want them to come off without damaging them

Use a flat blade screwdriver to pop the cover off, there's a screw underneath

p.s. in the pic, you can see a small cut out... that's where the flat blade screwdriver goes.

The plastic part and hook is not a cover is it that sits over a fixing of sort sort?. Kind of like the cover on a rear window wiper sits over the nut inside.

Anyway why not damage them?. I can't see them being that much for a new set from a dealers. Price up first of course then cut them off

Did it once before on my FR... bought a full interior from an LCR... was a right pain! lol

Yep mine looks like that now, although i've added sound deadening to the roof lol. Thanks for the advise guys, the one i tried firstly was on solid, but i did eventually get the sodding thing off, but now i need to sand it, fill it and spray it as i ended up scratching it badly with the screw driver The other one cam off fairly easy, i just hadn't tried that one until the weekend as it meant having no visor. I'm now in the process of resining the roof liner ready to give a nice smooth surface for the new trim to adhere too, i've have covered all the pillar trims too

would like to do it in mine but got a grey pillar pod and the passat interior light so just not worth it. Want my visors to light up when i open the mirror though so still waiting to see it the golf mk4 ones are a straight fit as they are grey (well some are)
