switch missing?

hi just taken delivery of my leon cupra and one of the buttons/blanks is missing on the dash (i did know about it when i bought it) i'm not sure just to get a cheap blank off ebay or due to the air bag light being on which i understand is a common fault should i purchase an airbag on/off button?

there seems to be sockets behind the missing piece im unsure weather they are related to the airbag the buttons are as follows from left to right blank,rear screen heater,hazard,"missing piece",blank

hi thanks for replying, the bit were your heater control is missing but the heater is on the other side on mine were the cup holder should be and there is no air-bag on/off button so i assume that is he one that needs to be replaced, i was just wondering if this may solve my air-bag light being on or did some leon cupras not some with this switch and just lots of blanks lol
 
Some came with the key in the glovebox to turn the air bag on and off.
Mines doesn't have the option to tun the air bag off so mine is just a blank.

i cant put a picture up of what i mean yet as i haven't made enough posts, there is a green and a brown socket begind the switches anyone know if one of these should plug into an airbag switch?

It's not an airbag button it's just a light to let you know the passenger airbag is switched to off! The other two maybe for heated seats???
 
looks like the wiring is there so maybe got the heated seats fitted

i know a few early ones had full heated leather on options etc
 
I'd guess that it did have heated seats but the previous owner has sold em along with the switches'

And as I said its not a switch it's just an illuminator! The switch is in the glovebox
 
okay, i get you sorry i miss understood. they have one on ebay and its being sold as a switch...

anyway i think the interior is what came with the car full leather. is there an easy way to find out apart from buying new switches and/or ripping apart my interior

Not a clue mate, vag com maybe able to tell you some other members may know but thats all my knowledge on the matter exhausted!!
 
extra wires coming from the seat underneath - only a couple for airbags + 4/5 wires more if heated iirc
 
If you do order an airbag illuminator switch make sure you order the one for the right side on the dash
