Hey everyone,

I have a 2012 Seat Ibiza 1.2 FR, and lately, my cruise control has been acting up. When I indicate, it deactivates the cruise control, and sometimes when I adjust the speed using the stalk, it turns on and off unexpectedly.

I plugged in an OBD reader and got the following error code:

00895 - CCS/ADR Control Unit: Implausible Signal

After reading some forums, I saw that cleaning the contact points in the stalk might help. So, I used a cotton bud and isopropyl alcohol to clean them . However, after reassembling everything and taking the car for a drive, the cruise control has now stopped working entirely.

Does anyone have any advice on what I should try next?

Hi, I’m actually having similar issue with my Ibiza IV 1.2 TSI (2010 model). The ”set” button does not work, all the other buttons work without any problem. Such a bizarre issue. Already checked the fuses and changed clutch switch and nothing. I did notice there was wear-off on the board/circuit. I cleaned it with CRC 2-26 and again nothing. Will send you a photo for comparisson! If you have any ideas I’d be glad to hear them! Hope you’ll be able to fix your cruise issue in some point
