Test Drive Questions

Just wondering how many people, waiting for their car to be delivered have/had another test drive getting itchy feet?!?!?

Not as such waiting for being delievered, but I test drove 3 different cars a total of about 5 times.

Test drives are good but you can never judge a car on a sinlge drive or even a day. I drove the vx thing this is hard and not very forging and the thought of driving more than a couple of hours would be hell. I read up so much about the car I thought that they cant be all wrong and went for it. It took 3 or 4 days before I felt happy with the car and getting used , and getting in and out of it. After that it was smiles all the way. Drove hundreds of miles in a day and would be happy to do so again. OK you drive some cars and you just know the minute you get in that you and it will never be close friends.

I hate test driving cars, as johnvx220 says you can't get a good feel for a car, other than if you totally hate it. I don't like driving them too fast either as it isn't my car.

Just heard you can have a 24hr test drive in the FR DSG. Might get a session booked in to see what its like.

I went back three times for test drives for the sake of it.. but they were 2-3 hours at a time
