Throttle position sensor on a sunday...

Hi, first time here, so dont stare... Looking for a throttle positionl sensor on base cordy 2.0 sx 16v with 92k. Trouble is, i need it for sunday. Apart from breakers - anywhere I can get one in the Guildford area? Is it only VW family that use it, or can I look at at other manufacturers?! Please help! This is what diagnostics has said was faulty. Should i trust it? Having the old "random cutting out issue" which is me off

Late Mk3 Golf GTi 16v will have the same TB

Yea, i guessed on that. i mean, are there any other manufacturers that use the same specific sensor?!

TPS is built into the actual thottlebodie as far as I can remember, so you'd need to source it off an ABF

check the wiring into it isn't broken.... very hard to 'break' a variable resistor

Can something else cause diag.comp to throw up "throttle position sensor" error?
I love this car, but am seriously tempted to swap it, as been 4 weeks with no fix - though through no lack of trying!!!

Just did a wire test and its fine up to the connector...
