The project on my car is finished to be honest. Everything conceivable has been done on the standard KO4 with OCD servicing as opposed to meticulous. I feel i would like to sell it the way it stands to an enthusiast, as far as i'm aware it's one of the "most powerful" KO4 tfsi cars in the uk at 396 bhp and 385 lbs/ft torque, which can be toned down to just over 380 using APR's programmable switching on the cruise control stock. Well over £10'000 has been spent on the car in mods alone. It sits in excellent condition, 35000 miles with no dents or scrathes and just the usual couple of stone chips on the front. It is my baby, but i think the GTR R35 has come a calling or the new M4. I want to know what people think i should put the car up for as it stands??????

As i say i would rather a forum member had it who would lokk after it. Originally i had a Helic paddle clutch in it but it was too hardcore, i then got a SPEC stage 3+ clutch set up which i had to wait 3 months for it to come from america to be put in the car rated to 600 lbs/ft torque which is a full face design :) Master and slave cylinder both replaced on car also. All standard parts would come with the car.

Here is the mods list, the car will come with the Pro Race 1.2's with R888's all round and in new condition and also the standard 19" LCR wheels with Michellin Pilot Super sports all round again brand new.

Revo stasis intake
Custom high flow inlet manifold
NGK iridium 7,s
Autotech HPFP
Rs4 fuel pressure valve
Full 3" Miltek decat
Devils Own Water Methanol Injection
Neuspeed turbo discharge pipe
Neuspeed throttle pipe
Eurojet stasis intercooler with air con delete
Rev G DV
Cold air feed
SPEC stage 3+ SMF clutch
WAVETRAC limited slip differential
THS engine/gearbox mounts
Forge short shifter
Super pro anti lift kit
MCS subframe spacers
VWR 360mm 4 piston big brake kit
Bilstein B12 shocks
Eibachsportlines
BHS front and rear ARB's
Pro race 1.2 18" alloys and r888's
APR v3.4 software with cruise control programmable switching (standard/95 Oct/98 Oct/ 104/WMI)
396.1 bhp 386 lbs/ft torque

A few pics with Pro Race 1.2's and standard 19's

Hey mate if i was buy i would think between 16-20k but that's just what i would pay if i was buying.

With regards to future choice i would edge towards a gtr as i had a test drive in a m4 great car there like 60k where as a gtr you can pick up for 30..

Just my thoughts mate shame to see it go.

Yeah mate tbh i drove the new M4 and in all honesty the leon would give it a hiding to the speeds iw was at in the M4 120/130 mph, i just like the thought of a civilised big car. Everytime i get in the LCR my adrenaline is pumping as it feels so much like a race car and is so savage. There is no doubt i will miss her :'(

Yeah understand mate it does sound good saying you have a 3.0 v6 triple turbo but it got a lot less toys than the 435i which i think is a bit poo but it's designed to be a racer thought about rs5? But my first choice would be gtr and you know its not gonna cost £1000 for a major service! Haha

Yeah the GTR for me is a winner :) Tbh i spend a fortune (not as much as a GTR servicing my leon anyway. Oil and filter change every 2-3k, gerabox oil change every 10k, filter clean every oil change, fuel filter change every 10k, brake fluid change every 10k, spark plugs every 6k, coilpacks ever 15k, inlet manifold stripped to clean the inlet valves at 31k and WMI installed to keep valves shiny clean for good :)

Sad times. Definitely my favourite Leon in the UK in think.
I'd reckon 17k wouldn't be far do the mark. Especially as it comes with all stock hear and another set of alloys.
If I had it....I'd be driving it down tomorrow.

Whatever you do... Don't pull it apart. Wait for someone to love it as much. As it is

Whilst I am well impressed with this car, it's spec and history I think the fact it's such a highly modified vehicle will hinder the sale because it's a specialist item.

I'm sure we've all come to realise that people are fussy and one off monsters like this put people off or the only people serious about buying them are dreamers, probably why you see so many people putting them back to standard to sell and flogging the bits online to make it a more general, saleable and boring car.

Sorry to sound pessimistic, it'd be great to find this car a home as it is but there may only be a handful of people looking for something exactly like this.

This car is one of the reason I bought a cupra. The car is a credit to you!!!! Love the colour, I just plain love the car. Who ever buys it will have to know what the car is and why it's been done, otherwise they will not appreciate what you have done.

I totally agree mate, but i would have to put my hand on heart and say i can't see ANY other leon being cared for the way i have for this car as far as maintenance is concerned, it is scary, the car still drives like brand new if not a litte more hardcore haha

Thanks mate that's much appreciated, hopefully someone can take it and car for it the way i did. It's a famous car as well being used in 5th gear against the Golf R :p

Must be a big wrench to sell something that you've clearly put a lot of time and effort into making not just one of the best looking Leon's on here but probably the quickest too. Whoever is the next owner ( and I do see MJ's point) I hope they continue to look after it as you have, and hopefully it'll stay on here.
