By all accounts it's very difficult, if not impossible to tint because of the curved surface. Maybe get them spray tinted instead?

Its called Tamiya Polycarbonate Spray Paint, which basically means for use on plastic. It costs around £6, and its the PS-31 "Smoke" shade you will need.

You spray it on from the inside, 2 or 3 light coats and just make sure you mask off the surrounding area!

It looks perfect from the outside, bit blotchy on the inside but its your only chance of keeping it transparent!

*ALSO* if you **** it up, let it dry and it peels off like a film!

I use to use this to tint the windows on my bodyshells for rc car racing, didn't think to use it on tinting the plastic windows on the car but your right it will work perfectly but id remove them from the car than trying to mask everything inside the car.

I did look into this, or replacing it with windows from an FR but I was advised that appartenly they are moulded into the car and they are an absolute nightmare to change or remove, never mind refitting them! That's why I went for the masking option.

Don't think I'd go to the hassle of pulling them out. Careful masking around the window and also a large area around it would hopefully be enough before using the spray paint.
