toc-toc sound from aircon

I have an 2007 mk2 leon, lately I started hearing some toc-toc sounds from the climate control... Mostly when the car is cold. I still have about 3 months warranty. Is this *rap going to die on me? Should I service it? Thanks!

does it sound like its coming from the passengerside around the airbag?

mine is doing the exact same... seems to be when i have it on hot then turn the temp down.

Both sides People say it's a climate valve making the sound, you can only hear it in winter... common fault.
If I want to service it, they will have to remove whole dashboard, heaven help me....

Sounds to me like you need to carefully cut the red wire...

ye, mine does the same. a guy at seat said it was the CC 'resetting' or something (basically think he meant some valve or something is returning to resting position) BUT it still does it when the engine is off and the CC is OFF!!! still does it . . . . toc toc toc toc

my advice, turn the music up

How does your warranty run out in 3 months? If it's a 2007 car then surely you have at least a year left?

Mine makes the noise too, but only on the passenger side.

Mine is an 06. I never said it was an 07. The threadstarter did, which is fair enough, he should have a year and 3 months left.

I live in Croatia, I guess we only have 2 year warranty on mechanics.
