Model Year 24/25 Trunk floor level on models with 360 camera

Hi,

I have the new cupra formentor eTSI (facelift), on that model you can put the trunk floor on two different levels, but when they give me the car I saw that there was some electronic piece that prevents the floor to be moved to the bottom position ( see photo), I asked to cupra and they told me that this piece is part of the 360 camera system. Is there anyone that has tried to move that and remove the plastic thing to be able to move te trunk floor?

Yes that’s the area view control module. It’s a stupid place to put it

To give you an idea, the A3 8Y mounts it behind the rear right wheel arch sandwiched together with the sound system amplifier
