I get my LCR on March 3rd, thats when the guy picks up his new car, was just getting an idea on prices, so i know what i got to spend.
My VXR was runing 290bhp, with a remus exhaust.
I think I will probs go for a Stage 2 remap, to give me the extra 45-50bhp. Then I will get a LEON CUPRA/R 210 BHP HI FLOW CAT, full stainless steel milltek exhaust.
Then I may think about some new coil overs?
Just want it to feel a bit more nippy than a standard car.

To be honest a Stage 2 LCR is not going to be far off your old VXR.
- Stage 1 (remap only) will get you between 250 - 260bhp
- Stage 2 (Air filter, turbo back exhaust, upgraded DV & stage 2 remap + optional FMIC) will get you from 275 - 285bhp.
You will want to upgrade the lower engine mount (or all 3 if you want to do the work) to help cope with the power. Of course an LSD will help further with traction.
You can also get the turbo hybridised which in effect is stage 2.5 (but done on a stage 2 remap) but you'll need a free flowing manifold and upgraded rods to cope safely with the extra torque. This will make you 300bhp+ & over 300lb/ft torque most likely. Bare in mind that affordable cast manifolds are only now just coming out for the K04 turbo (what's on the LCR) so we're yet to see any figures for this setup.

So with a hybridized turbo, what we looking at money wise?
Will definately do the Stage 2 then without the FMIC, will do exhaust, DV, remap, air filter and plugs.

FMIC will help you achieve towards the 285bhp, without it then 275bhp is more realistic. Hybrid turbo, from what I understand is about £700 - £1000 on an exchange basis for your current turbo. It's not advised to drive your car with one fitted without having the car mapped to control the boost and torque. The 1.8T engine is capable of great things but you need to take the necessary precautions before going nuts.
Cast manifold, same fitment as an OEM manifold, it's a direct replacement but modified to be more free flowing. The manifold and downpipe are quite restrictive on these engines.
