I know the Cupra has the engine amplifier to make the exhaust note louder than the FR but are the turbo and supercharger noises the same as well? Im guessing they are because they are the same bits of kit, and you can take the sound proofing off the SC to make the noise a bit louder?

Be good if the whine was as loud as a Cooper S! :D

Well the turbo is noisy on mine which I love. As for the charger its not as noticeable but I have read somwhere that you can take the sound proofing off the charger. Do a search on google. Think a lad with.the polo gti did it. Be interesting if it majes it much noisier

I've removed some of the sound proofing from around it which makes a slight increase to the whine :D Trouble is it has a silencer at either end :(

How difficult is it to remove the sound proofing around the SC? Would a novice be able to with a £50 toolkit from halfrauds?

isnt the supercharger electronical limited to 3500? if so what happens with the sc limiter at 4000 ?

Potentially dicing with failure imo. The SC bearings/shaft etc would have been balanced and design to operate at max of 3500. Raising it would likely cause alot of vibration followed by bearing issues etc

EDIT:
