Hi everyone; as usual sorry for my bad english.

I own a Ibiza FR 1.4TSI and two month ago I remapped it by a local tuner here in Turin (Italy).

When I got it, the tuner says me he modifies turbo pressure to 0,8bar with a peak of 1,2 bar.
My questions are:
-What is the turbo pressure of a stock cupra?
-What is the turbo pressure of yours after remapping Revo, APR and other tuners?
I watch two videos on youtube where the turbo reaches 1,4/1,5Bar and never goes lower than 1/1,1 bar.

Waiting your answers.

I can't remember what my Cupra makes stock, hopefully someone else can post that up. I think it was .8bar peak and .6bar at redline.

On my APR map the turbo peaks at around 1.5/6bar (22/23/24psi) and falls to 1.2bar (17psi at redline)

All from my car with a decat downpipe stock intake and either stock or stage 2 mapping.

Standard

Std Blue = Actual Boost. Red = Specified(requested) Boost
Peak at 1.21Bar(17.5psi) @ 1600rpm. 1Bar(14psi) from 2700-5300rpm dropping to 0.62Bar(9PSI) at the redline.

Sh ark Stage 2 Blue = Actual boost. Orange = Specified(requested) boost
Peak at 1.65Bar(24psi)@ 2700rpm to 1.5Bar @4520rpm before dropping to 0.96Bar(14psi) at the redline.

Jabba Custom Blue = Actual boost. Orange = Specified(requested) boost
Peak at 1.4Bar(20psi)@2310rpm. Dropping gradually to 1 Bar at the redline.

Thats why its not on my car anymore. N75 duty cycle was 100% because the turbo couldnt achieve the requested boost.

thats nucking futts! on my 300bhp cupra we ditched the n75 in favor of a manual boost controler, 26psi on a ko4 = :D

I went to speak to the tuner about turbo pressure telling him your "numbers". He said me he didn't increse more the pressure because of high heat of our engine.
I think, being similar to the cupra, having about 180/185CV.
What do you think keeping the stock exhaust?

Forgot to mention i also had the intercooler fitted.

Stage 1 boost is typically 1.2-1.4bar iirc. Once the downpipe is removed which allows the EGTs to reduce dramatically and an intercooler fitted reducing the IATs dramatically more boost can be applied to the map.

On a long run 1.2 bar boost on a car with stock IC/DP would probably be quicker than an equivalent setup running 1.4 bar as it would suffer less heatsoak.

This is my boost gauge, not to brag but tbh I've never seen anyone with higher boost numbers than mine. Spike-hold-redline boost (keep in mind it's filmed in summer, now i do a bit better).

As you can see I got 1.65 bar peak, 1.5 hold and 1.25 redline. And these are at 28+ degrees Celcius ambient and after 5 consecutive pulls.
