I have a 1.4 tsi model. I was driving on the motorway and I lost a lot of power at about 50-70 mph and acceleration was rubbish going up a hill. It doesn't seem that bad on the flat but definitely has an issue that I think is to do with the turbo. I googled it but couldn't find anything exactly like this. I have no check engine light, and at lower speeds my car drives ok although makes a bit of an "owoo" wine (not sure how to quite describe it) every few times when I drive before it gets hot.
I hope I do not need a new turbo since I do not have a lot of money to get this fixed right now, but does anyone have any ideas of what it could be and how much it will be costing me to get it fixed? Thanks
