Turbo Spool at what revs?

I'm sure I've rad on here (but can't find it) that the turbo spools at around 2000rpm?

Mine spools at under 1500rpm, nearer to 1300rpm.

It's a Leon Cupra 150PD.

Really comes on boost at about 1850 like chris said (IIRC)

yep, the turbo will start to spool up as low as 1350 like you say, 1500 its gathering pace and 1800-2000 is reached its peak.

Talking spool up then mine starts to spin at less than 1500 rpm
peak torque is achieved at around 1900rpm (236lb ft for the 150pd)

Agreed you can here is whistling quite low down...boost hits in at 1900
