Twitchy traction control

When I say twitchy soon as the road seems a little damp and I squeeze the go peddle a lit too much it kicks in, all my tyres are brand new and decent quality, is this just how they are or do I maybe have a dodgy sensor

The tcs in leons is a pretty dumb system as soon as it detects even the slightest wheel spin it cuts all power and just flashes at you

best just turn it off before you set off! lol

Lol turn it off I tried that the funker is nuts at the sniff of wet roads

yeah its just the way the tcs is, its either on or off theres no sort of middle ground

i just switch it off and drive sensible on wet roads as the leons nose heavy and will understeer like a goodun!

What tyres do you have, I found the original p zero rosso to be awful in the wet, now running on Goodyear assy 2's and thjngs have improved greatly. Still under steers but no where near as much, gonna be looking into Quaife LSD's as I had on my last car, and the difference was night and day!

On the LCR the recommended MK4 R32 front roll bar upgrade improves the turn in a lot. Under steers a lot less. Turn off the TCS and just go, that's what I do .

Lol tyres are p zero it's been a lo g time since driving fwd I forgot how fun a bit of understeer in the wet was nearly shat my pants
