As above, I've had this issue for about 5 days now

A couple of options; poor EE coverage where you are? Has your 1 year Cupra Connect run out? Reason for mentioning the latter is mine runs out soon and there's no way I'm going to pay the extortionate yearly fee! Can you Connect using a WiFi hotspot on your mobile perhaps?
 
My EE coverage is great in my area and yes my cupra connect ran out a month or so back and I also never renewed as it wasn’t worth it

I can’t back up my settings etc because of this

I’ve emailed cupra too so I will update if I get a reply
 
(y) I'll be very interested in their reply. I'm thinking of going with my mobile as a hotspot or maybe a dedicated data only hotspot router I can leave connected in the car. As it's all new to me I'll wait until the free year expires and see what I lose out on. I use the Cupra Connect app quite a bit especially to monitor my charging & pre heating of the car etc. I'm hoping there's a way I can still use these features without paying Cupra's silly prices!
 
My connect app ran out 3 months ago so I dint think it anything to do with that

but I will update on cupras response if I receive one
 
Reply from cupra, although it’s working and I’ve not renewed since the app etc since tge 3/4/22

they said buying there service will fix it!

someone the face book forum am in said there’s was down for 10 then came back in

am no paying for that worthless app that tells my my windows are open when they’re not etc!

Glad it sorted itself.
Seems like a typical Cupra response, just to try and get you to pay. My app has been totally error free tbh and I really like using it, but once the free year runs out I'll see how I get on purely due to the rip-off subscription fees!
