USB from stereo into glovebox

Hi guys.
Does anyone know if there is a way to cable a usb adaptor into the glove box?
I installed a new headunit a couple of months ago and intended to feed the usb cable through into the glove box so that I could easily change it. I couldn't find a way into the glove box, or anything that looked remotely near it when I first installed. I'm now wanting to see if I can do this again.

Has anyone got any tips?

Hi there.

I haven't done this for a while but I think there is a square shaped moulding towards the top (inside glove box) which can be pushed through.

Bit of a vague response but I no longer have the car which I did this on (08 stylance diesel)

Cheers

Take the glovebox light out and drill a semi circle into the plastic where the glovebox light goes and then you can slip the cable in between it :)

+1 the bung can be removed so I cut a bit out to feed the cable through on mine when I did exactly the same thing when I ran a usb and 3.5mm RAC through to the glove box.

Great stuff- Thanks for the tips.

I'll have a look later in the week to see if I can do it. When I installed it I had a look but couldn't seem to see through to anything that appeared to be the glovebox from behind the stereo or climate sections.

Got it sorted today!

Literally so easy. Just pulled out the light cover in the glove box and disconnected it, then put a torch inside so I could see where I needed to feed the use cable. Used a spring grabber tool to feed the cables through and then just out the climate controls back in and was done.

Going to leave the dash light out as I never need it as my interior lights are bright enough if I need to see in the glovebox.

Just need to tidy the cables up abit now.
You can see the section in the dash that the cables need to be fed through. It's the triangle shaped hole closest to the front of the dash... Just push through there and feed through the light hole.
