VAG COM DPF level

Can anyone tell me how to view the level my DPF is at using VAG COM?

What is a dpf regeneration? I got it done the other day. Just curious...

I did an autoscan but couldnt see any mention of dpf level. What is it labelled as?

Firstly make sure the engine is over 50 degrees then select engine module, then click coding II, then enter the code 21295 this will enable emerg regen the light should come on on the dash, then go back and select measuring group 075 the soot level is the 3rd box it should have lambda underneath it. Its up what you do after this you can simply turn the key off to cancel the regen or take it on the cycle ross tech say keep it at 2200 rpm in 4th gear hope this helps

Cheers for the reply! Will give it a go tomorrow when I get back from work and the engine is already hot.

I assume that if I just turn the key off and cancel the regen it will do no harm? If I do the regen does it stop when it reaches a certain level?

I really just want to check the level as the engine light came on and I get 008194 - Particulate Trap Bank 1: Efficiency Below Threshold error. I am hoping it is an O2 sensor rather than dpf failure (these seem to be the 2 possibilities after a bit of research)

Yeh. Check your soot level if its more than 75% DO NOT let your car run the regen as it can make your engine set on fire.
