I've been speaking to LEE69 who has been helping me with my VAG COM software.

I have intalled the VCDS software and now correctly installed the driver software (so i think i have as i can now test the lead. I used this: -

http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/usb/usb-config-vista.html

Unfortunately im getting the following on the test, connector not plugged into the car: -

Status: Questionable
K1: SHORT TO GROUND
K2: SHORT TO GROUND
CAN: Questionable

The link says i should be getting OK's.

Anyone any ideas? I had a quick look inside the lead and nothing seems wrong, no damaged or broken leads, wires etc??

I reset the DTC's, drove it to work this morning and got: -

17987 - throttle Actuator (J338)
P1579-35-10 - Adaption Not Started - Intermittent
Readiness: 0110 0101

I dont know if i caused this when trying to adjust/rest the throttle body with it on to start with.

I did also look at the MAF fault code on google and posts on other forums were saying signal too low normally points to damaged wiring or pins in connector rather than MAF. They said signal too high would indicate MAF issues.

What are peoples views on this?
