vr6 cupra?

alot of mk2 vr6's go for 1500 to 2000 depending on condition but only costs about 6-700 for all the running gear. mk3 might be 2000-2500.

its the noise of the vr6 that makes me want one. :p

you can get a rotten 5dr mk3 VR Golf for sub £500. Budget for chains, service, clutch, brakes, mounts and suspension.

A friend of mine has just fin his 1.6 mk 3 to vr6 conversion and its rapid im lookin at doing the same 2 mine in the next few months as i have a 12 month ban and thought it would be a gd project 2 start. ive looked into most of it so far and all the parts are pretty much comptible but wen it comes down to the wiering part i think im gonna struggle. gd luck tho and let me no how you have got on :)

I'm not sure whether this is of interest to you, but my mate is stripping his Toledo V5, and apart from needing coil packs the engine is spot on. And I'm sure he'd be happy to add in driveshafts, brakes, wiring, ECU or whatever else you need.

Of course, this thread did pop up a while back now, and I know a VR5 isn't quite a VR6, but it is the old 10 valve which can be turboed to big numbers if you really want to have a project.
