VZ3 Alloys

Does anyone know if the Plastic Aero part of the VZ3 alloy can be taken out?
Only ask as I do like them but I think they would be a lot more aesthetically pleasing with them out.

Yes, but in my opinion they don’t look good with the aero parts removed as the screw holes that are used to fix them to the wheel are left exposed, as are a number of small support ‘bumps’ on the spokes and around the rim. Picture in the thread at the link below;

Hi all - spotted in a Facebook group the plastic bits between the spokes on the aerodynamic Alloys can supposedly be removed. Has anyone done this? Is it easy & does anyone have photos of the results?
