Weak Coil???

Guys and gals! I have had an up n down week with the LC! First I cleaned the oil pick up, sweet! Then the injectors played up! Changed em, sweet again!! NOW, I accelerate she drives spot on, boosts, accelerates fine...........UNTIL I hit top end of revs, 4,500 to 5,500 rpm, I'll get a hesitation, like a misfire but ONLY at high revs and heavy load?? Does this sound like a weak coil not performing under higher load?? Many thank yous in advance

Hi bert, yeah that sounds possible mate, what about the spark plugs have you checked the condition of them? If you've got vagcom you can look and see which cylinder is misfiring, might make the fault easier to trace

I have a mate who has vagcom I did wonder if there was a way of telling which specific coil it was! So thank you, as for spark plugs, I haven't had them in that long, but I will remove and check tomorrow, better not go down now.......the missus would flip lol
